- Noise levels are typically moderate to loud, but may be extreme when exposed to operation of tools, equipment and machinery.
- Must have knowledge of general maintenance of building systems.
- Must be able to read and write in English and comprehend equipment manuals and instructions, work orders, and basic correspondence. Must be able to write simple notes and memos.
- Must be able to perform math at the arithmetic level, to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Must have a basic ability to read and understand blueprints and construction drawings, and work with units of area measurement, weight, volume, and distance.
- Must be able to interact with employees, tenants, potential tenants, clients, and contractors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Must be able to maintain an even temperament in potentially heated situations, and work closely with other employees in a friendly and professional manner.
- Must be able to operate basic hand and power tools.
- Must be able to operate multifunctional equipment, skid loader, zero turn mowers, truck with snow plow and sander, and understand the use of safety equipment associated with them.
- Must have prior experience in the operation of maintenance equipment.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
